With the current shortage of Elf BFK07 in Australia, there have been questions asked regarding which fuels are currently approved for racing. While the technical committee are currently evaluating alternative fuels, the only allowable fuels are those listed below:
27.9 Approved Fuels: Premium Unleaded Petrol (PULP) produced by major refineries, ELF BFK07
There are no alternative ELF fuels approved for racing.
