2024 South Australian Dirt Kart State Title RESULTS

The 2024 South Australian Dirt Kart Titles hosted by Loxton Kart Club, have been run and won. Thank you to all the competitors for your involvement over the weekend. We were certainly treated to some great racing over three days. CONGRATULATIONS to all the drivers who finished on the podium and now get to proudly display a state plate on their kart for the next 12 months. The AIDKA council over the weekend discussed the issue’s with numbers and have amended the rule to the following, effective 1st September 2016 15.9.1 Rear number plates shall be flexible material with a flat surface that is a minimum of 200mm square, to carry numbers which must be a minimum of 145mm high and a minimum of 20mm thick and be a plain or italic font.  The numbers must be a minimum of 10mm from the edge of the plate or flexible material and a 10mm gap between double or triple digit numbers.  Front numbers to have a minimum of a 20mm background Below are example’s of the new requirements: In addition to this amendment all State plate holders will be required to run the state letter 100mm high preceding the...

AIDKA Approved Fuels

At the recent May AIDKA meeting the Council have voted to allow an additional approved fuel under rule 27.1.2.   The additional allowable fuel is POWERPLUS 98+ and will be allowed for use immediately.   Performance testing has been conducted with no additional power gain found from is use.   The reason for the change is due to the increasing issues drivers are finding with regular PULP fuel so an additional “drum” fuel has been approved for use.   Specific data on the POWERPlus 98+ fuel can be found on their web site.   This is the only approved PowerPlus fuel approved.   Power Plus Distributors are available at http://powerplusfuel.com.au/locate.html   27.9 Approved fuels: Premium Unleaded Petrol (PULP) produced by major refineries, VP C9, Powerplus 98+  ...
